Racer's Chili Challenge Tentative Schedule of Events

Chili Team Sign-In: 10 am
Setup: 11 am to 1 pm
Doors Open To Public: 1 pm
Judging: 2 pm

Awards Presentation: 4 pm

Racer's Chili Challenge Awards

  • The People's Choice Award
    Winning team wins a chili trophy & choice of either a $100 Kistler Racing Products Gift Certificate or $100 Cash!
    (Voted on by everyone in attendance will vote on their favorite chili between all the entries)
  • Three Divisional Winners
    The three winning teams will each receive a gift package from Fremont Speedway, Attica Raceway Park, F.A.S.T. & Hoserville Ohio!
    Sprint Car Division (410s/305s), Late Model/ Dirt Truck Division, & Fans/ Media Division
    (Voted on by the select panel of special guest judges)

Download and print out the Chili Challenge Flier/Entry Form and PLEASE PRINT the necessary information on the entry form at the bottom of the page. Next submit your entry form with one of the methods below.

Entry Rules & Notes:
1) Only one chili entry per person/team
2) Two "pit passes" per chili team - "Chili Chief & Setup Man/Woman"
3) Must provide 1 to 2 gallons of chili and a crock pot or roaster for proper heating.
4) Tables, spoons, bowls, and plastic serving gloves will be provided to each team.
5) Teams must provide their own serving utensils, napkins, paper towels, etc.

Tourney Registration: Day of The Event (before 3 pm)
Tourney Starts: After the chili awards presentation @ 4 pm
This is so any interested chili teams can enter the tournament as well!

Cost: $10.00 per team (plus paid admission into the Racer's Chili Challenge)

Policies/Guidlines:
1. All participants/teams must be properly registered. No exceptions.
2. Participants may play on 1 (one) team only.
3. Each team shall consist of 2 (two) players. Rosters are frozen once the tournament has begun.
4. Layout of court and position of boards shall be at the discretion of the management, and accepted, as such, by the participants.
5. Number of accepted teams may be limited. Management reserves the right to reject any entry/application.

Rock..Paper...Scissors Tournament presented by Computer Man Inc.
This is a challenge for kids (17 & under) to determine the overall rock, paper, scissor champion. The winner will win a trophy donated by Ross Paulson of Computer Man Inc.

Registration: Day of the event
Entry Fee: $1

Hot Pepper Eating Contest presented by K&S Sales & Service
This challenge is for anyone who can withstand the heat of eating numerous jalepeno peppers during a 5-minute period. The winner will take home $100 in cash and a couple rolls of toilet paper!

2010 Payout: 1st Place: $100; 2nd Place: $50; 3rd Place: $25

Registration: Day of the event
Entry Fee: FREE to anyone willing to feel the burn!
