PRESS RELEASES:
2010 Northern Ohio Sprint Car Show Launches a New Season
(Tiffin, OH) The 2010 Northern Ohio Sprint Car Show is in the books, and it is now officially time to go racing.
Another great turnout was evident throughout the weekend as fans throughout northern Ohio got their first look at a stunning group of cars, renewed old friendships and relived many great racing memories. Mall businesses thrived, as evidenced by the fact that the Mexican eatery had a constant waiting line outside the stablishment for 7 straight hours Saturday. Other very popular stops included JC Penny, Maurices and the Dollar General.
The NOSCS Hall of Fame was the biggest attraction of the weekend. NOSCSHOF organizer Andrew Myers has vowed to make the popular attraction a yearly tradition.
Randy Mapus and the North Coast Vintage Oval Racers displayed a great group of vintage racecars, further underscoring their commitment to preserving our rich racing history.
Hoserville Ohio had another successful year in surpassing last years total in spite of the weak economy. This clearly speaks well for the generousity of the entire racing community.
To everyone who helped out in any way I extend my most sincere thanks. A very special thanks goes out to Rex LeJeuin of Attica Raceway Park, to Rich Farmer of Fremont Speedway and to my dear wife Becky. This is truly a team effort, and I do enjoy performing this service every year. Seeing such a positive result makes all of the work and expense very much worthwhile to me.
The 2011 Northern Ohio Sprint Car Show is tentatively scheduled for March 18-20, 2011 at the Tiffin Mall.
